Fr. Bob Franco is leading a pilgrimage to Rome, Assisi, San Giovanni Rotundo (the monastery of St. Padre Pio) and other religious sites during the Holy Year 2025. The ten-day pilgrimage will be October 20-October 29, 2025. This will be a joyful time of encountering the Lord, perhaps traveling with old friends and making new friends. Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday, September 20th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served in St. Peter's Gym. Jesus tells us, “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst.” Come and quench your thirst at our Discovering Christ sessions beginning September 8th. Discovering Christ is a free seven-week series with a life-changing retreat. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to an enlightening teaching. After, you will join others in exploring the meaning of life and the identity of Jesus Christ. Childcare is available. These sessions will be held at St. Julie’s. Consider joining us for Mass on Labor Day, Monday, September 1st. Mass will be at St Julie Parish only (NO Mass at St. Peter) at 9:00am. What a great way to thank the Lord for blessing the work of our hands and giving us some extra time to rest from our labors.

Join Father Bob for a book study, “Searching for and Maintaining Peace” by internationally acclaimed retreat master and author Fr. Jacques Philippe. With all the agitation in the world and in our own hearts at times, this book will guide us in how to deal with those things that tend to make us lose our peace. This five week book discussion will begin on Wednesday, August 27 and the following Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM in the St. Peter Galilee Room at the Parish Center. All Parents and PSR Students are cordially invited to the PSR Open House on Monday, August 25th at 6:30pm in St. Peter School. Come see your child's classroom, visit with the teacher and pick up the books for this year. Come and see!
