Students are invited to bring their backpacks to Mass the weekend of August 22nd & 23rd to have them blessed at Mass. A special gift will be given to each student.

Our next study begins in September when we will study "Touching the Divine", based on the Gospel of John. All women are welcome! Choose the session that fits your schedule: Wednesdays at St. Julie's from 6:30-8:00pm (begins September 23rd) or Fridays at St. Peter's from 10:00-11:30am (begins September 25th). St. Peter Parish: August 29 & 30. The goal of our Ad and Billboard Campaign is to return preborn children (and not “choice”) to being central to the abortion debate. To help bring about a culture of life and love — where every life is protected — Lorain County Right to Life will again conduct an Ad and Billboard Campaign. St. Peter Parish will collect donations and signatures after Mass the weekend of August 29th & 30th. Help support the Campaign and publicly proclaim your Pro-Life stand.

All Parents and PSR Students are cordially invited to the PSR Open House on Monday, August 31st at 6:30pm in St. Peter School. Come see your child's classroom, visit with the teacher and pick up the books for this year. Come and see!

An exciting concert will take place Wednesday, September 2 at the Lorain Palace Theater featuring "The Answer Oratorio." This will be an immersive concert of Christian music that will bring the life, death and resurrection of Jesus to the stage. The group features world class performers from the US, Spain, and beyond; presented in both English and Spanish. Join us for the St. Julie & St. Peter Women's Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, September 12th from 8:30 - 10:00a.m. Breakfast will be served at St. Julie Billiart Church. Enjoy a delicious breakfast as we welcome Sr. Sean, who will share an inspiring presentation, "Faith is More Than Cooperation". Consider joining us for Mass on Labor Day, Monday, September 7th. Mass will be at St Julie Parish only (NO Mass at St. Peter) at 9:00am. What a great way to thank the Lord for blessing the work of our hands and giving us some extra time to rest from our labors.

A mini food pantry, also known as a "Blessing Box," is a small structure where people can donate and collect basic necessities such as nonperishable food items, toiletries, and other essential items. It's a simple and accessible way for the community to support each other by providing for those in need. If you would like to donate, the Blessing Box is located next to the parish office.

"Walking with Moms in Need" is a national ministry, launched in 2020 by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, dedicated to supporting women who are facing pregnancy or challenging parental situations. Through this ministry at St. Julie's/St. Peter's, we have been blessed to assist 36 women and nearly 90 children since our inception in 2023. Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday, September 19th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served at St. Julie Billiart Church. Open to men of any parish in the Diocese, come and enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast followed by a short video and discussion. We will end promptly at 9:45 am. So we have an idea of how much food to prepare please RSVP by sending an email to [email protected] by September 14th.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process whereby adults interested in joining the Catholic Church or in completing the Sacraments of Initiation gradually enter into an understanding of Christ and His Church in preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Confirmation registration is open for Fall 2026 for St. Peter's and St. Julie's. If your child will be entering 8th grade next school year and would like to be Confirmed, please register him/her at https://www.stpeternr.org/confirmation-preparation. Registration closes July 31st.

The weather is beautiful! St. Peter's Rosary Garden is open and available to all. It's a peaceful place for reflection, prayer, and quiet moments - a little oasis of calm in the midst of busy days. Come visit, pray the rosary, and enjoy the beauty and peace the garden offers. It is located behind the Parish Center.

Parents of children in grades K-8 are invited to register their children for these classes that will begin this Fall. Please register your children by August 1st by clicking here where you can also find the PSR Schedule for 2026-2027. Our teachers are looking forward to sharing our faith with you and your children!

St. Peter Parish sponsors a dinner for the community of North Ridgeville through Community Care. The dinner is provided on the last Wednesday of each month in the gym. It is served from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. All are welcome!! The next meal is Wednesday, August 26th.
