Pope Leo XIV (His Eminence Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost) Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to your shepherd a spirit of courage and right judgment, a spirit of knowledge and love. By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care, may he, as successor to the Apostle Peter and Vicar of Christ, build your Church into a sacrament of unity, love and peace for all the world. Congratulations to St. Peter's Pre-K and Kindergarten Classes of 2025! We pray these little ones are fed and lovingly guided in the years to come here at St. Peter School! May they always walk with the Lord! Graduation takes place on May 28th.

Our next Community Outreach Meal will be held on Wednesday, May 28th in the Parish Gym doors open at 5:30pm and dinner is served from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. All are Welcomed!

Friday, May 30th is the day to dust off those old cars, your bicycles, or whatever transportation you choose and "Cruise-In" to St. Peter's for a blessing! The Cruise-In begins at 5pm in the church parking lot. The blessing of all vehicles and drivers will be at 7pm followed by an Ice Cream Social in the Gym. Join us as we continue to celebrate St. Peter's 150th Jubilee year!

Join us in St. Peter's Cemetery (weather permitting) on Monday, May 26th at 9:00am. Bring your lawn chairs if you are able. We remember those who gave everything for the sake of freedom. The Parish Office will be closed on Memorial Day.

Congratulations to St. Peter's Eighth Grade Class of 2025! Let's pray for these students as they move on from halls of the school and the family of students and teachers that have nurtured them! May they always walk with the Lord! Graduation takes place on May 22nd.

It’s that time of the year when all ministries and organizations must think about meeting dates and times for the 2025-2026 calendar year (July 2025 through June 2026). If you plan on using parish facilities for your meetings, then please complete the Facility Scheduling Form even if you have long-standing regularly scheduled meetings. The form is available on our website (www.stpeternr.org/calendar-scheduling-facilities ) and in the racks in the Church. It can be submitted to Cheryle Koberna at [email protected] or it can be dropped off at the parish Center. It would be much appreciated if the form is submitted by May 26, 2025. The staff will be reviewing and finalizing the calendar in June.

Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday, May 17th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served in the Gym (St. Peter's). Open to men of any parish in the Diocese, come and enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast followed by a short video and discussion. We will end promptly at 9:45 am. So we have an idea of how much food to prepare please RSVP by sending an email to [email protected] by May 12th.

Join us on Sunday, May 18th, for hot coffee, fresh donuts and fellowship after all the Masses.

Our final Junior High meeting before the summer break will be May 15th where we will welcome the soon to be 6th graders and say goodbye to our 8th graders! We meet at St. Peters from 7:30pm - 8:30pm. Snacks provided! Bring a friend! There will be no Summer sessions (June - August). Youth Group will reconvene on September 18th.
